Krystal Vega is a multimedia journalist and content creator driven by her passion for entertainment, beauty & fashion (especially sneaker culture!) in a new American mainstream. A native New Yorker and proud, Black and Puertoriqueña. Krystal's career began in linear TV and streaming roles across Complex, BET, and Revolt, where she honed her voice in the media industry.
In 2019, Krystal's unique perspective and strong work ethic earned her an invitation from NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises & Quibi to co-host a daily Latinx entertainment news rundown called #ForTheCultura, designed to pioneer mobile-first content in English for new, diverse Millennial & Generation Z audiences in the US.
Krystal brought her fresh perspective & past relationships in entertainment to the show, which ultimately helped #ForTheCultura to track among the top 5 daily essentials on Quibi at its peak. Recognizing that she would not have had the opportunities she's received without the support of other women of color who came before her in the industry, Krystal co-founded "Fortune & Forks" in 2017. What started as one dinner to foster fellowship, celebrate accomplishments, and exchange key resources amongst each other on the journey
toward major success turned into a social club for high achieving women of color. Now boasting over 500 members nationwide, the organization serves as a hub for trailblazers in entertainment, beauty, fashion, finance, and other fields. By curating intimate gatherings, collaborative events, and opportunities to exchange resources, Naomi and Krystal have built a vibrant community where members feel seen, supported, and equipped to achieve their ambitious goals in their respective fields.

Now based in Miami, Florida, Krystal is the Co-Host of Elevathers podcast that explores the peaks and valleys of life's journey, from relationships to entrepreneurship, with a taste of today's most sizzling social media topics, through the unfiltered lens of modern womanhood.
